Natalie reached out to us, furious about her mother-in-law constantly showing up at their house uninvited. Frustrated, she decided to install a hidden camera to find out what was really going on. But when she reviewed the footage, her life was turned upside down.

Here’s what people think about this situation.
- I had my Mum and Dad’s house keys, and they had mine, neither of us used them unless they were asked to or there was some kind of emergency — that’s respect! If you can’t have respect in this situation, you are a despicable human being! Get your key back ASAP!
- Oh boy, this is unacceptable. Anyone with one ounce of decency, would not this to anyone, much less to family. I agree that you’re on your own here.
- I would ‘pack up’ my own stuff and run, you will never have husband on your side and mamma will never let you have your privacy.
- Mama has control…..I have a key to my daughter’s house, but only used in times of need or emergency with them. I live downstairs from my son, and I never just go up and make myself at home, much less do as this mil did. Sounds like mama and son have issues.
- I have a key to both my son and daughter’s house. I only use it when they make a request which requires me to use it. I wouldn’t dream of abusing it. (They have keys to my house too, but they never know where they are).
- Get a good divorce lawyer. Your MIL is stealing from you, and your husband is in cohorts with her. YOU WILL NEVER matter in his life, as he is Mummy’s boy, and MUMMY will always come first.
